Clewel Travel · From Paris, private
Clewel Travel sends a Mercedes and a driver to your hotel, takes you to the Veuve Clicquot cellars in Reims and has you back by four. Pick it when one house matters more than a busy day: it is the only listing here that names its house, and the car is yours alone.

Clewel Travel calls this a half-day trip. It is a nine-hour day: pickup at 07:30, about two hours to Reims with one rest-area stop, the Veuve Clicquot cellars from 10:00 to 11:30, half an hour at the cathedral on your own, lunch, and the road home for a 16:00 drop-off. Two or three of you ride in a Mercedes E220; three to seven get a Mercedes minivan. Pricing is tiered, so the $556 per person drops as more of you share the car.
What you're buying is the visit. The English-guided cellar tour runs through three levels of galleries, and you pick the tasting at booking: the most popular option, with a rosé blend, Yellow Label and cheese and charcuterie; an advanced option with four cuvées; or a premium one that sets Yellow Label in magnum against La Grande Dame 2015. One highlight line also mentions a choice of two experiences at Ruinart, which the itinerary never shows, so ask Clewel before you count on it.
Three caveats. The driver drives: the listing says he is not a guide, and a live guide costs extra, booked ahead. The house is named but not promised: with no slot on your date, Clewel offers "a relevant alternative or a higher level Experience", which you can accept or cancel for free. And this is the only trip here with a 3-day cancellation window instead of 24 hours. The DIY version costs a fraction: the TGV to Reims takes 46 minutes with advance fares from EUR 15, and the house's own Brut Yellow Label visit is EUR 36 in 2026.
The driver collects you anywhere in Paris. About two hours to Reims, with one stop at a rest area.
A 90-minute guided tour through the galleries, ending with the tasting option you booked.
Thirty minutes on your own at the coronation cathedral.
Your own choice, or ask Clewel to reserve a restaurant. The bill is yours.
About 2.5 hours on the road.
Early enough for dinner or a show in Paris.
