My Winedays · From Paris
A wine guide collects you at your Paris hotel and takes you to one famous champagne house and two family producers, with lunch at a winemaker's table in between. Pick it for the mix: the big-house cellars most people come for, and the growers who often turn out to be the better half of the day.

My Winedays picks you up at your hotel in central Paris in an air-conditioned minivan with eight seats at most, hands out a croissant and a bottle of water, and drives about two hours east. The day has three stops: one famous champagne house for a cellar tour and tasting, lunch at a family-run house or a local restaurant with at least three champagnes, and a second, smaller producer in the afternoon, either a family vineyard or a cooperative. The listing promises at least eight tastings over the day, an English-speaking guide who knows wine, and a masterclass in the vines when the weather allows.
Read the house line twice. The listing names Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Mercier, Pommery, Lanson and Nicolas Feuillatte only as examples ("such as"), and says the wineries "may vary depending on availability". You will get one big name, not necessarily yours. Veuve Clicquot, for one, opens Wednesday to Sunday only from 4 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, and last winter it stayed shut from 28 December to 7 April. If one house is the whole point, the private Veuve Clicquot trip is the only listing that names its house.
Then the clock. The TGV from Gare de l'Est reaches Reims in 46 minutes, but by road it is two hours each way, and the listing's own itinerary adds up to about five hours in the minivan across a 10 to 11 hour day. At $364 you pay for door-to-door ease and a guide all day. Fine with trains? The three family domains day from Reims gives you three producers and lunch and swaps the morning motorway for the TGV. On the shared tour you finish at Hôtel de Ville, not your hotel; hotel drop-off comes with the private option.
The guide collects you in central Paris, with a croissant and water for the two-hour drive east.
About 1.5 hours at one of the large houses: the cellars, how the bubbles get into the bottle, and a tasting. Which house depends on availability.
Two hours at a family-run house or a local restaurant, with regional food and at least three champagnes.
A smaller grower or a cooperative for another 1.5-hour visit and tasting, plus the vineyard masterclass if the weather holds.
Two hours on the road, and drop-off at Place de l'Hôtel de Ville.

One major house, chosen by availability. The listing gives Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Mercier, Pommery, Lanson and Nicolas Feuillatte as examples and says the wineries can be changed based on your preferences and requests. Our guide to the champagne houses worth visiting explains how they differ.
About two hours each way in the minivan, so roughly five hours of the day are on the road. The TGV from Gare de l'Est to Reims takes 46 minutes; our Paris to Champagne by train guide covers that route.
Yes. A traditional French lunch at a family-run house or a local restaurant, paired with at least three champagnes. Tell the operator about dietary requirements when you book.
From age 4. The listing rules out under-4s. Give the children's ages when you book so the guide can plan soft drinks at the tastings.
